Viewnx I Download Mac
This software is no longer available for the download. This could be due to the program being discontinued, having a security issue or for other reasons.
wanted to reinstall Nikon ViewNX 2 (I want to use Nikon Transfer 2 as part of that package; yes, I DO use Photos but prefer the "Nikon Transfer 2" for some jobs). I downloaded from official web site ( ).
Earlier this month, Nikon announced plans to release its new ViewNX-i image browsing software for free on March 17. As promised, the download has gone live today, building on the camera maker's previous View NX 2 software. The new application works in conjunction with Nikon's NX-D photofinishing software for editing photographs, and bundles Nikon's ViewNX-Movie Editor for editing videos.
Ok..I have a Macbook Pro 15" with 16 MB Ram and 500 SSD with Retina, and I've tried downloading ViewNX 2 twice now.I let it run a good 45 minutes the first time, and it just looks to get 'stuck' on the download...as it has a blue line across the window it's in, as if it's finished, but it never does finish!Used 'Force Quit' and re-tried...this time for over an hour, with the same result. I do have the latest OS update of EL Capitan, thus don't know if the installer has trouble with updated OS?Recently picked up my D750 Nikon, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to download without this, but thought I'd see what you might have to say here. Any ideas why this software won't install correctly? I've downloaded software for years, and haven't come across a setup where it looks to be downloading fine....but just never finishes?
I'm having the same problem with my new iMac 5k. Additionally, my old iMac had nx2 and it quit downloading a few months ago. I think it's probably a problem with El Capitan compatibility. You can download your pictures to your computer using the Image Capture program that should already be installed on your Mac. I hope Nikon is working on this, but I'm not holding my breath.
Wow, it actually looks like they fixed the retina display MacBook Pro issue. Even though the version number is the same, there is a slight difference in the download size today compared to the initial offering a few days ago. Uninstalling the old and re-installing with a new download fixed the MBP spinning beachball issue.
Interesting, try using the uninstaller that comes with the install and is in the Applications > Nikon > View NXI folder. Then redownload and install again. Something definitely changed as I have several systems that beachballed and after doing that they all work.
I too downloaded the software last night on a 13" macbook pro retina running yosemite and have exactly the same problem. The dreaded spinning beach ball! Totally unresponsive and have to force quit the app.
I just realized View NX1 is only for VIEWING, not for editing. Since it displace (removed) NX2, I may have to Reinstall NX2. But then, The Capture NX-D is now free . . . I'm downloading and installing and keeping my fingers and my toes crossed . . . LOL
The drivers required to transfer photos are automatically installed when you install Nikon ViewNX-i. Here is the Nikon ViewNX-i download link. Select your operating system and scroll down to the terms and agreements. Check the agree checkmark, select your region, and click the download button. Open the exe file and you will be asked whether you want this software to make changes to your device. Click yes, and the installer will appear, click install.
Another method to get your photos onto your computer is to get the photos on your phone via SnapBridge, then uploading them to Google Drive or Dropbox to download on your computer. Click a photo you like in SnapBridge and save it in the original size. If you save it in 2 megapixels the photo may lose quality. Your photo will now appear in your camera roll. You can now save it to google drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or even email it to yourself.
If you have found mistakes during downloading, please email to info@userdrivers.com. We will endeavour to solve these as soon as possible. Other problems, please try to contact publisher's official support.
If you shoot in JPEG, you can use everything Nikon NX Studio has to offer, no matter your camera brand, while Nikon users will greatly appreciate its RAW editing capabilities. While there are certainly some important caveats to consider, as well as some messy bugs that will get ironed out over time, I certainly recommend you download it and give it a try.
